Here is a couple of e-mails I received FYI and interest.
Re: the Osoyoos Sep. 10-12 BC-I retreat.
This is a note to give everyone a heads up on the a/n event. The game plan for
anyone attending may want to be aware of the tentative ride there and back. For
those attending better check the Sahara Country Inn for reservations.
Departing: Friday Sep. 10th on the 6:30 am ferry out of departure bay. Hit
Horseshoe Bay at 08:20 am and head eastbound on hwy 1 and pull off at the 200
St. exit in Langley, and head south 2 blocks to 86 Ave. - for about 09:00 to
09:30 am - and stop at the Tim Horton's for some nourishment. The members of
BC-I will pull in there to meet us and we will leave all together about 10:00-
10:30 am. We should pull into Osoyoos around 4 pm to circle the pool and relax
with some beverages. Saturday will be a ride up the Okanagan to one of the
wineries and back to the motel. Sunday departure back to Vancouver and then the
Island.
Cliff, we got an invitation to attend this ride so could you add this ride to our calendar please? A few people are interested and Rotten Ronnie said he was going to ride out for this. Accommodation is at the Sahara Courtyard Inn, 1-250-495-7211, in Osoyoos. Should be a fun ride! If any of you are going to join us please let me know!
